2015年7月，香港國際工程技術協會，又稱IETI（International Engineering and Technology Institute），在香港註冊成立。目前，IETI學會在全球60個國家/地區擁有會員。IETI的涉及領域包括自然科學、工程技術與管理等。

會員類型
IETI現有如下幾種會員類型，會員（Member）、高級會員（Senior Member）、會士（Fellow）、傑出會士（Distinguished Fellow）。其中，IETI會士（Fellow）和傑出會士（Distinguished Fellow），是在自然科學、工程技術及管理領域內取得重要成就的傑出高級專業技術人員。

2017年7月，新出版的IETI Transactions on Ergonomics and Safety （IETI TES）被歐洲人機工程學協會聯合會（Federation of European Ergonomics Societies）列入推薦期刊目錄。

2015年8月，荷蘭丁伯根研究所（Tinbergen Institute）的Philip Hans Franses 和 Michael McAleer 教授當選IETI傑出會士（Distinguished Fellow）。
2015年12月，台灣中央大學鐘鴻源教授當選IETI傑出會士（Distinguished Fellow）。
2016年3月，葡萄牙波爾圖理工學院Nelson Jorge Ribeiro Duarte 教授 當選香港國際工程技術協會理事（International Engineering and Technology Institute, Outros (especifique),Director (Board) since 03/2016 .）。
2016年6月，IETI與武漢理工大學文法學院（武漢理工大學高等融合教育資源中心）合作進行“第六屆高等融合教育與融合就業論壇暨視障高等融合教育與網路支持國際研討會”出版。
2016年10月，奧地利卡倫西亞套用科學大學副校長Michael Auer教授當選IETI會士（Fellow）。
2016年12月，新加坡世界科學出版社《Reports in Advances of Physical Sciences》期刊與IETI展開合作（Recently, we have started a collaboration with the International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI) of Hong Kong.）。
2017年1月，IETI在香港召開經濟金融統計國際會議，泰國博仁大學（Dhurakij Pundit University）副校長Renu教授等出席了會議。
2017年1月，瑞士蘇黎世套用科技大學工程學院Jörg Osterrieder 教授 出任 IETI 學術委員會副主任（Deputy Director of the Academic Board for theInternational Engineering and Technology Institute）及IETI Transactions on Business and Management Sciences 編委（Member of the Editorial Board for IETI Transactions on Business and Management Sciences）。
2017年1月，台灣清華大學科技管理學院馬可立教授榮獲第一屆 IETI 年度科學獎（The 1st IETI Annual Scientific Award Winner, Michael McAleer）。
2017年2月，IETI主席Michael McAleer 在香港會見Atlantis出版社創始人Zeger Karssen（IETI President Michael McAleer Met with Atlantis Founder Zeger Karssen in Hong Kong.）。
2017年4月，IETI傑出會士（IETI Distinguished Fellow）王申培（Patrick S.P. Wang）教授在湖南大學做報告。
2017年5月，國際工程技術協會主席Michael教授參與了2017年教育、文化與社會發展國際會議。
2017年6月，國際工程技術協會聯合創始人（Co-Founder of International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI), Hong Kong）岳曉光（Xiao-Guang Yue） 博士擔任馬來西亞拉奇出版社（RAZI Publishing）出版經理（Publishing Manager）。
2017年7月15-16，泰國瑪希隆大學和國際工程技術協會合作舉辦2017經濟與管理創新國際會議（Mahidol University and the International Engineering and Technology Insitute (IETI) of Hong Kong have scheduled the upcoming conference, "International Conference on Economics and Management Innovations (ICEMI 2017)", for Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16, 2017 at the Novotel Siam Square, Bangkok.）。
2017年7月17-18，泰國詩納卡寧威洛大學和國際工程技術協會合作舉辦了2017第二屆智慧型信息處理國際會議（2017 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Information Processing）。
2017年12月2日至3日，第二屆機械與控制工程國際研討會在桂林理工大學教七樓會議報告廳成功舉辦。此次會議由桂林理工大學機械與控制工程學院主辦，得到了國際工程技術協會、馬來西亞拉奇出版社、塞爾維亞貝爾格勒大學機械系等單位支持。
2018年1月12號，重慶WELL國際教育有限公司、國際工程技術協會等與泰國皇家理工大學進行學術合作（Rajamangala Universit of Technology Phra Nakhon, warmly welcomed the representatives from Chongqing WELL Interenational Education co. Ltd, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Hong Kong International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI)）。
2018年5月15日，日本神戶大學羽森茂之教授當選IETI (International Engineering and Technology Institute)Fellow。
2018年5月19日，桂林理工大學和國際工程技術協會（IETI）在桂林理工大學舉辦了第三屆智慧型信息處理國際會議(ICIIP 2018)。
2018年5月19日，桂林理工大學和國際工程技術協會（IETI）在桂林理工大學舉辦了2018第二屆教育文化與社會發展國際學術會議。
2018年6月23日，首屆新材料及智慧型製造國際學術會議由吉林化工學院主辦，會議得到國際工程技術協會和Volkson出版社等單位的支持，會議論文由IETI-Volkson Press負責出。
